Floyd Shivambu Fires Back: I Won’t Beg Zuma or MK
Floyd Shivambu has come out swinging refusing to bow to pressure or plead for his place in the uMkhonto weSizwe MK Party. After being abruptly removed from his post as Secretary-General, Shivambu says he won’t beg party leader Jacob Zuma or anyone else to remain.
“I don’t beg for political membership,” Shivambu declared, sparking speculation about deepening cracks inside the MK Party’s leadership. Once seen as a key figure in Zuma’s new political project, Shivambu now claims he's the target of bogus intelligence reports and internal sabotage.
The outspoken leader isn’t fading quietly. He’s launched a public consultation drive hinting at the formation of a brand-new political party. And while he insists he hasn’t officially left MK, Shivambu made it clear: he won’t be “redeployed” or silenced.
Fueling the fire, he’s accused party insiders of looting millions each month and mismanaging MK’s parliamentary caucus allegations that could shake the party’s foundations.
